Autumn second term

The end of another term is approaching and the children have learnt alot. They are progressing in phonics and have moved onto phase 3 sounds and reading lots more tricky words.
They have enjoyed our space topic and have experienced lots of writing opportunities including writing in space dens, writing on clingfilm, glitter and slime!
In maths they are becoming more confident in counting and have learnt to carry out simple addition and subtraction problems. The children have  been measuring using length, weight and capacity and have been exploring shapes.

Space moon rocks that the children made.
